Covid-19 Update: Due to the latest Government announcement, we will be adjusting our opening times to comply with the updated guidelines. From Thursday 24th September 2020, we will be closing the doors of our restaurant and bar at 10pm daily, until further notice.

All guests and staff must also continue to wear face coverings in all public areas of the hotel (exemptions apply)

As always, we will operate in the most Covid-19 secure way to ensure the safety of our guests and staff is paramount

We are pleased to announce that our plans to re-open the hotel from the 4th July 2020 are well under way. The welfare of our guests and our staff is our main priority and we want you to feel assured that we have in place all the necessary precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you and your loved ones safe.

Travel and hospitality is looking very different just now so we want to reassure you of what we are doing to keep you safe and to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Our public areas have been reconfigured to ensure that guests and staff experience the highest possible standards of health and safety. Social distancing continues to be a required practice and we have put all measures in place to enable everyone to maintain the recommended 2 metre distance. Clear distancing markers, roped off areas, screens and PPE will assist guests and staff to move safely around the premises.

Our restaurant and bar will be open to serve breakfast and dinner. Our menus have been designed to provide choice whilst ensuring our chefs can deliver good quality food safely.

On arrival, we will ask you to choose a suitable dining time so that we can control the number of people in our restaurant at any given time. We will offer table service only in the restaurant, or room service if you prefer.

Our bar will serve a selection of drinks including bottled beers. We have organised a socially distanced area for anyone wishing to have a drink from our bar.

Cleaning, hygiene
& health & safety

Risk assessments for guest and staff safety compliance have been completed in line with Government guidelines.

We have introduced an enhanced cleaning programme to include:

A pre-opening deep clean including carpet cleaning, flushing of water systems and complete sanitisation of all guest rooms and public areas, using approved chemicals from our supplier, Shorrocks Trichem.

Our guarantee that guest rooms have not been accessed since they were cleaned.

Extra disinfection of the top high touch areas in guest rooms such as light switches, door handles, taps and remote controls

No staff will access your room during your stay except in an emergency. Provision of clean towels and extra provisions will be left outside your room in a sealed package, to prevent person to person contact.

  • Increased cleaning frequency of public areas.
  • Hand sanitisers in public areas and entrances to corridors.
  • Reduced paper amenities such as notepads and directories.
  • Pre paid bookings and cashless outlets.
  • Pre prepared room keys which have been sanitised.
  • Appropriate PPE for all staff including gloves, masks and screens.
